The ERC is moving to EDIN!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is EDIN and why is the ERC moving there?

A: EDIN is a nonprofit 501(c)(6) trade association for education entrepreneurs that is focused on removing barriers that prevent new education models from launching and growing. In addition to continuing to provide ERC services, EDIN will advocate for and protect the rights of education entrepreneurs and families, including providing alerts about potential policy threats, organizing responses to address the threats, and engaging in, or funding, strategic litigation to protect and expand education freedom. EDIN will also engage in research into real life challenges faced by education entrepreneurs and provide thought leadership in this space. Eventually EDIN anticipates using the power of its membership base to provide additional benefits and discounts to members.

The ERC is moving to EDIN because the purposes of the ERC are aligned with the mission of EDIN, and EDIN offers a sustainable way to continue to provide the ERC services.

Q: When does the Edupreneur Resource Center (ERC) move to EDIN (Education Defense and Innovation Network)?

A: The move takes effect on December 1, 2026.

Q: How do I find the ERC after December 1, 2026? What is the website address for EDIN?

A: The website for EDIN is withEDIN.com. From December 1, if you go to StandTogetherERC.org you will be automatically redirected to withEDIN.com.

Q: Do I have to join EDIN to access the services that were provided by the ERC?

A: Yes, from December 1, 2026, anyone who wants to access the services that were provided by the ERC will need to join EDIN. The membership process is very simple, and founding members are being offered membership for only $10 for the first year if they join before December 31, 2026. After that the membership fee reverts to $180. Find out more at withEDIN.com.

Q: What happens if I have a Help Request currently in progress?

A: If you are currently working with a member of the ERC to address a Help Request, that will remain open and transfer to EDIN. You will need to join EDIN to continue to receive help with your issue. You will receive further information and a promo code for a free EDIN membership through the ERC member you are working with. If you have not received that information prior to December 1, 2026, please email: contact@withEDIN.com.

Q: Why do I have to pay for ERC services I used to get for free?

A: Free access to ERC services is not sustainable. By creating EDIN, we are building an organization that will become self-sufficient. EDIN leadership hope that the value of the benefits provided by EDIN, including ERC services, will make membership an easy choice for any education entrepreneur.

Q: Will EDIN provide legal guidance?

A: EDIN will continue to offer legal guidance around regulatory compliance and will remain unable to provide legal advice or services. If you would like advice specific to your circumstances, or assistance drafting or reviewing documentation, you will want to consider hiring a lawyer licensed to practice in your state. However, the EDIN team may be your best first stop to assess your options.

Q: What happens to any information and data I provided to the ERC?

A: The information and data you may have previously provided to the ERC will be transferred to EDIN in accordance with the ERC Privacy Policy. If you do not want your ERC information transferred to EDIN, or if you have questions about the transition or your personal information, please contact us at ERC@standtogether.org (prior to December 1, 2026) or contact@withEDIN.com (from December 1, 2026).
