ERC Terms & Conditions
The Edupreneur Resource Center (the “ERC”) is a program operated by Stand Together, Inc. (“Stand Together”), a nonprofit entity recognized under section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code. The ERC and Stand Together may be collectively referred to herein as “we” or “us.” The ERC is designed to advance Stand Together’s vision for education by supporting innovative learning models that are tailored to students’ unique needs. Learn more about Stand Together at StandTogether.org.
We encourage any individual who provides individualized educational services to children to become an ERC member. In keeping with the Stand Together mission, ERC services are available to education entrepreneurs who are providing individualized educational services and support to their own children and to the children of families enrolled in their educational programs. Membership support is generally not available for issues relating to or arising from legal entitlements related to enrollment in conventional public education settings or with respect to disputes arising between private parties.
By submitting a questionnaire, requesting information, accessing ERC’s resources, or requesting any other services from the ERC, you agree to a free ERC membership. Membership in the ERC is non-transferable and non-assignable and will automatically renew annually. You may cancel your membership at any time by submitting a request here. The ERC reserves the right to cancel any membership at any time and for any reason.
BY JOINING THE ERC, YOU AGREE THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE AND ARE LEGALLY ABLE TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT.
By becoming a member of the ERC, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity, and Stand Together, concerning your access to and use of ERC resources, information, and services. You agree that by joining the ERC, you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions. Stand Together reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions of ERC membership at any time. If there is any material change to these Terms and Conditions, we will announce the change on the ERC website or, at our discretion, email you notice of the change(s). All changes are effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the ERC website, resources or other benefits of membership means that you accept and agree to the changes.
By becoming a member of the ERC, you agree that you may receive communications from the ERC, such as newsletters, reminders, updates or other information. You may choose to opt out of receipt at any time by submitting a request here. You cannot opt out of essential communications regarding your membership.

Resources and services
ERC members may access the resources, information and services provided by the ERC by going to standtogetherERC.org (the “Site”). ERC resources, information and staff assistance are designed to provide members the knowledge they need to advocate for themselves as they navigate regulatory pathways and address regulatory barriers that they may encounter as they start and sustain unconventional learning environments. Information or support provided by ERC staff to members or on behalf of members is for educational purposes unless otherwise agreed upon between an individual member and Stand Together. The scope of services and any individualized support provided by the ERC is at the sole discretion of the ERC. Membership access to ERC resources and staff is only for the benefit of current members. Members who invite non-members to participate in any ERC services are responsible for ensuring that all persons are aware of these Terms and Conditions and comply with them.
Upon request, the ERC may also provide referrals to third-party providers, including but not limited to legal, financial, or other professional service providers who are not affiliated with Stand Together or the ERC. Any such referrals are offered solely for the convenience of members and do not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of the provider’s qualifications, capabilities, or services. Members retain the responsibility to evaluate the provider’s suitability for their needs and make an independent decision about whether or not to engage the provider. Neither Stand Together nor the ERC supervise, monitor or assume responsibility for any services provided by referred third-party providers. By accepting a referral, members agree that Stand Together shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising out of or in connection with their use of, or reliance on, any third-party provider or their services.
Neither Stand Together nor the ERC is a law firm. Members will not receive any legal services or representation. At no time is an attorney-client relationship created with Stand Together or the ERC through the provision of the resources, information and services provided through the ERC. Communications between you and the ERC and its staff are not protected as privileged communications under the attorney-client privilege or work product doctrine.
The ERC strives to keep its resources accurate and up to date. However, members should understand that the law changes rapidly and neither Stand Together nor the ERC can guarantee that all of the information and resources are completely current. Further, members should be aware that the law differs from state to state and may be subject to interpretation by different courts. No general information or resources like those provided by the ERC can fit every circumstance. The ERC, its resources and services are not a substitute for the advice or services of an attorney. If members need legal advice for their specific problem, a licensed lawyer in their area should be consulted, particularly for important and timely matters that demand urgent attention or that are of significant financial consequence.
