Lynn Swanson
Education General Counsel

Lynn Swanson serves on the Stand Together, Inc. Legal team where she serves as Education General Counsel for the Stand Together Edupreneur Resource Center (ERC).

She began her legal career practicing corporate and securities law at a large international law firm and later at an investment bank. As her career evolved, Lynn transitioned to serving as in-house/general counsel for smaller businesses.

Lynn also worked part-time with the Florida Department of Children and Families, Children’s Legal Services, representing the state in child dependency matters. Mid-career, Lynn lived overseas, primarily in Australia, where she held various roles within the Commonwealth of Australia and the New South Wales governments. She later moved into management consulting and became a certified change management professional. 

Lynn then pivoted in her career and joined yes. every kid. foundation., where she partnered with Tamara and a team of attorneys to launch legal support for education entrepreneurs. When the program transitioned to Stand Together, Inc. in 2025, she continued that work—innovating and strengthening how the ERC supports edupreneurs nationwide. 

Lynn holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.A. from Wellesley College. She is admitted to practice law in Florida and New York.

As a founding member of the ERC, Lynn helps build the legal foundation that keeps edupreneur ventures sustainable and safeguarded. She researches the laws and regulations that impact education entrepreneur business, writes practical compliance guides, and provides 1:1 coaching tailored to each founder—translating legal requirements into clear, actionable next steps. Lynn also helps inform litigation strategies that advance education freedom and contributes to policies that support education entrepreneurs nationwide.
